The Vertical Hammer Installer was by far the most difficult invention for Tony Jaras to develop. To our knowledge, no on in the history of piano repairing has ever manufactured a device to properly install vertical piano hammers.

Made from aluminum and stainless steel parts, this jig is very professional looking, as well as extremely accurate. With the action out of the piano, the fully adjustable action holder is used for stability, and then both ends of the action brackets are clamped by the instalation jig end pieces.
Working in sections, all hammer angles and hammer tails are properly aligned so that only very minor adjustments are required when the action is returned to the piano.
