An excellent caster for pianos in churches and schools.

Faultless dual wheel piano casters are equipped with double ball bearing raceways.

  • Stem Dimension: 7/16" Dia x 1-3/8" Long
  • Brown oxidized finish
  • Supplied with removable, square CS-1 pressed steel sockets with 4 screw holes and wood ferrules, with lock notch. 
  • 1-5/8" Base Width,  with 4 screw holes ( screws not included) 
  • 1-1/8" Center to Center Screw Spacing
  • OD Of Stem 1/2"
  • Stem Height 1-1/2" 

 

All of our wheels are sold with their own sockets. You will be required to replace the entire wheel / socket assembly to ensure a proper fit.
You may be required to modify the existing hole in your piano to accommodate the new casters.
Unfortunately there is no reference manual to tell us what wheels would work in each of the over 12,000 pianos manufactured.

Happy with the results 03/04/2021

I replaced the 1 inch diameter steel wheels on a spinet piano. The recessed holes on the bottom of the piano had to be widened out. I used a 3-1/4 inch diameter holesaw to enlarge the hole and a router to widen it out more. I recommend making a test hole on scrap wood before cutting into the piano to assure you have enough clearance.

Now it rolls smoothly across the room with little effort.

The items I received were of excellent quality! I was very pleased with how quickly they arrived. I have recently installed new hardwood flooring in my living room and the stock steel wheels on our Winter piano would not have been a good mix. Thanks so much for all the advice and support to get me the proper wheels to replace them.

Piano wheels - work great! 11/26/2021

Our 100 year old piano had tiny delicate brass wheels that truly didn’t roll, the piano being far too heavy for those tiny things. We had to do a little bit of engineering to put these wheels on but they are fantastic and allow for shifting the piano to clean behind and to retrieve items that roll or slip behind it.

I purchased a set of the heavy duty rubber wheels for a grand piano at our church which was to be, and is, set on new stone chancel in our church. We did not want the standard brass wheels on our stone chancel. The rubber wheels worked great!

These wheels are perfect! Strong enough to support the piano to let it roll around easy. Another plus, because they are rubber...they don't scratch the floor, which is wonderful! They are worth the expense.
